Inside, after meals with water. Adults and children over 15 years old - 1-2 tables. 2-3 times a day.

The daily dose is no more than 6 tablets.

Duration of admission - no more than 5 days. An increase in the daily dose or duration of treatment is possible only under medical supervision.

Children (only as prescribed by a doctor): 6-8 years old - 1/2 tab., 9-12 years old - 3/4 tab., 13-15 years old - 1 tab. 2-3 times a day.

Hypersensitivity to pyrazolone derivatives (butadion, tribuzon), other components of the drug;

severe liver or kidney dysfunction;

oppression of bone marrow hematopoiesis;

stable and unstable angina;

chronic heart failure in the stage of decompensation;

tachyarrhythmia;

angle-closure glaucoma;

hyperplasia of the prostate;

intestinal obstruction and megacolon;

granulocytopenia;

deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase;

pregnancy and lactation;

children under 6 years of age.

With care: mild and moderate severity of liver or kidney dysfunction; tendency to arterial hypotension (systolic pressure below 100 mm Hg); tendency to bronchospasm; increased individual sensitivity to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or non-narcotic analgesics.

Contraindicated in pregnancy:

During treatment, breastfeeding should be discontinued.

From the digestive system: burning sensation in the epigastric region, dry mouth.

From the nervous system: headache, dizziness, anticholinergic effects (decreased sweating, paresis of accommodation, difficulty urinating).

From the side of the cardiovascular system: lowering blood pressure, tachycardia, cyanosis.

From the urinary system: impaired renal function, oliguria, anuria, proteinuria, interstitial nephritis, urine staining red.

From the side of hematopoiesis: with prolonged use - thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, agranulocytosis.

Allergic reactions: urticaria, bronchospastic syndrome, anaphylactic shock, Quincke's edema, exudative erythema multiforme (including Stevens-Johnson syndrome), toxic epidermal necrolysis (Lyell's syndrome).

Concomitant use with radiopaque drugs, colloidal blood substitutes and penicillin is contraindicated.

With the simultaneous use of the drug with cyclosporine, the concentration of the latter in the blood decreases.

With the simultaneous use of metamizole sodium, displacing oral hypoglycemic agents, indirect anticoagulants, GCS and indomethacin from the connection with protein, increases their activity.

With the simultaneous use of phenylbutazone, barbiturates and other inducers of microsomal liver enzymes reduce the effectiveness of metamizole sodium.

With simultaneous use with other non-narcotic analgesics, tricyclic antidepressants, oral hormonal contraceptives and allopurinol, toxicity may increase.

With the simultaneous use of sedatives and anxiolytics (tranquilizers) enhance the analgesic effect of Spazmalgon.

With the simultaneous use of thiamazole and cytostatics increase the risk of developing leukopenia.

With simultaneous use, the action of the drug is enhanced by codeine, blockers of histamine H2-receptors and propranolol (slow down inactivation).

With the simultaneous use of drugs with myelotoxic effect, the hematotoxic effect of Spazmalgon is enhanced.

When administered together with histamine H1 receptor blockers, butyrophenones, phenothiazines, tricyclic antidepressants, amantadine and quinidine, the m-anticholinergic action may be enhanced.

The use in conjunction with chlorpromazine or other phenothiazine derivatives can lead to the development of severe hyperthermia.

With the simultaneous use of Spazmalgon enhances the effects of ethanol.

Pharmaceutical interactions

Due to the high probability of developing pharmaceutical incompatibility, it is impossible to mix with other drugs in the same syringe.

Symptoms: vomiting, a feeling of dry mouth, decreased sweating, impaired accommodation, decreased blood pressure, drowsiness, confusion, impaired liver and kidney function, convulsions.

Treatment: gastric lavage, the appointment of activated carbon, symptomatic therapy.
