The drug is administered orally, 1 tab. 1 time / day, preferably in the morning before meals.

The dose of the drug Prestans® is selected after previously titrated doses of the individual components of the drug: perindopril and amlodipine in patients with arterial hypertension and / or ischemic heart disease.

In case of therapeutic necessity, the dose of the Prestans® drug can be changed or an individual selection of doses of individual components can be performed in advance:

• hypersensitivity to active substances, to other ACE inhibitors or dihydropyridine derivatives;
• hypersensitivity to excipients that make up the drug;
• a history of angioedema (Quincke's edema) (including while taking other ACE inhibitors);
• hereditary / idiopathic angioedema;
• severe bilateral renal artery stenosis or artery stenosis of a single functioning kidney;
• severe arterial hypotension (systolic blood pressure less than 90 mm Hg);
• shock (including cardiogenic);
• obstruction of the left ventricular outflow tract (eg, severe stenosis of the aortic ostium);
• hemodynamically unstable heart failure after acute myocardial infarction;
• renal failure (CC less than 60 ml / min);
• concomitant use with aliskiren and medicinal products containing aliskiren in patients with diabetes mellitus and / or moderate or severe renal impairment (GFR <60 ml / min / 1.73 m2 body surface area);
• concomitant use with angiotensin II receptor antagonists (ARA II) in patients with diabetic nephropathy;
• combined use with combined medicinal products containing sacubitrile / valsartan;
• extracorporeal therapy, leading to blood contact with negatively charged surfaces;
• pregnancy;
• breastfeeding period;
• children under 18 years of age (efficacy and safety have not been established);
• hereditary galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency and glucose-galactose malabsorption.

The most common adverse reactions when taking perindopril and amlodipine as monotherapy: edema, drowsiness, dizziness, headache (especially at the beginning of treatment), dysgeusia (taste disorder), paresthesia, visual disturbances (including diplopia), tinnitus, vertigo, sensation palpitations, "flushing" of blood to the skin of the face, arterial hypotension (and the symptoms associated with it), shortness of breath, cough, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, changes in the frequency and nature of stools, diarrhea, constipation, itching, skin rash , exanthema, swelling in the joints (swelling in the ankles), muscle spasms, fatigue, asthenia.

There is no information on drug overdose in humans.

The drug should be stored out of the reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.
